Have I told everyone yet how much I LOVE going to the playground?

I especially love it when Mommy and Daddy play with me.

Fun, fun, fun!!!

Mikey reporting here. We had the pleasure of Babcia (Grandma) Ania coming to visit us for a few days last week. Here are a few of our favorite pictures from all the fun we had with her.

I learned that goat food is just for goats, not for little boys. I tried it just to make sure Mommy was telling the truth. Let me tell you it is yucky!!!

On the last night Babcia was here we took her out for some Mexican food.

After we said goodbye to Babcia Miss Colleen took us to the cottage for the weekend. Man is it fun there!!!

Daddy went kayaking and it looked like so much fun I wanted to get in to see what it was all about. Daddy wouldn't take me though... they didn't have a life vest to fit me. Maybe next time my slacker parents will think of that before we go. ;-)

I'm moving so fast that even the picture is blurry. Oh and yes my Mom and Dad put me on a leash because I like to run away in public. I guess they don't want to lose me.

How in the World did both of these guys catch the same yucky cold?

So, Mikey has been learning to brush his own teeth

He's been to the mall a lot (due to the mass amounts of rain we've had)

Touching candy machines that I'm sure a million other kids have (not being paranoid or anything)

Sharing your toothbrush with Daddy is a good idea, right?

Sure, until Daddy gets the same running nose as Mikey...

This couldn't be the reason why... both Mikey and Daddy are sick.

I've been tagged...

Thank you so much Summer for tagging me. So, here it goes. I have to give you 5 facts about myself and then tag 5 other poor souls.


1.) I hate wearing socks around the house. I can NOT sleep with anything on my feet, not even in the winter (except at Becca's house which is unbelievably cold).

2.) I keep trying other hair colors, but always end up blond again. I just feel more myself when I'm blond (go figure, I'm naturally dark brunette).

3.) I can drink caffeine at any hour of the day and yet still fall asleep right after.

4.) I don't floss my teeth. I brush at least twice a day, but I never floss. I've tried to even commit to one day a week... not so much luck. (I know, I know I'm gross).

5.) I still have a crush on my husband and get excited for him to come home from work everyday.

Home sweet home

So this is our new house. I just love it here! It is a fantastic neighborhood and it's so close to Mike's work he can come home a join us for lunch on occasion now.

It didn't take Mikey long to figure the stairs out. He loves climbing them and he just figured out how to come down on his own yesterday. However, he gets really ticked off at Mommy when I put up the kiddy gate. The stairs are not a safe place to play trucks.

I took this picture the last night in our old place, now that he is walking he carries his truck pretty much everywhere with him.

Let me preface for the next group of pictures: The day we move in I see our neighbor coming home and she takes out of her backseat a little boy that looks pretty similar in age as Mikey. I think to myself... this can't be true. So, we get to talking and her son was born 1 day before Mikey. Can you believe this? We couldn't have planned this if we tried. Now as if this wasn't cool enough her husband is 100% polish as well ( in fact he is part of the largest polish family in WI). Crazy, right! So we both have polish husbands and 1/2 polish sons and we both are trying for baby number two!!! Maybe the second baby will be born on the same day. ;-)

P.S. No I am NOT preggers... just dreaming about it.

It's moving time

So, our family is making the move again. Crazy is what some of you might be thinking. However, we live in a small cramped apartment that we have quickly outgrown. Mikey has been sleeping in Mommy and Daddy's room because we didn't have the space to give him a room of his own. Well that is history. Daddy painted Mikey's new room this past weekend, it looks beautiful. Thank you very much Daddy. Anyhow, I'm very excited. We will have a backyard and a great park just across the street. The actual place isn't much bigger, but there is TONS of storage making it soooo much more comfortable. So, wish us luck in our move. The next time I post it will be from our new home.
