I've been tagged...

Thank you so much Summer for tagging me. So, here it goes. I have to give you 5 facts about myself and then tag 5 other poor souls.

1.) I hate wearing socks around the house. I can NOT sleep with anything on my feet, not even in the winter (except at Becca's house which is unbelievably cold).

2.) I keep trying other hair colors, but always end up blond again. I just feel more myself when I'm blond (go figure, I'm naturally dark brunette).

3.) I can drink caffeine at any hour of the day and yet still fall asleep right after.

4.) I don't floss my teeth. I brush at least twice a day, but I never floss. I've tried to even commit to one day a week... not so much luck. (I know, I know I'm gross).

5.) I still have a crush on my husband and get excited for him to come home from work everyday.

Home sweet home

So this is our new house. I just love it here! It is a fantastic neighborhood and it's so close to Mike's work he can come home a join us for lunch on occasion now.

It didn't take Mikey long to figure the stairs out. He loves climbing them and he just figured out how to come down on his own yesterday. However, he gets really ticked off at Mommy when I put up the kiddy gate. The stairs are not a safe place to play trucks.

I took this picture the last night in our old place, now that he is walking he carries his truck pretty much everywhere with him.

Daddy, Mikey and Chloe relaxing after a long days work in our new house.

Let me preface for the next group of pictures: The day we move in I see our neighbor coming home and she takes out of her backseat a little boy that looks pretty similar in age as Mikey. I think to myself... this can't be true. So, we get to talking and her son was born 1 day before Mikey. Can you believe this? We couldn't have planned this if we tried. Now as if this wasn't cool enough her husband is 100% polish as well ( in fact he is part of the largest polish family in WI). Crazy, right! So we both have polish husbands and 1/2 polish sons and we both are trying for baby number two!!! Maybe the second baby will be born on the same day. ;-)

P.S. No I am NOT preggers... just dreaming about it.

Aren't they so cute together?

It's moving time

So, our family is making the move again. Crazy is what some of you might be thinking. However, we live in a small cramped apartment that we have quickly outgrown. Mikey has been sleeping in Mommy and Daddy's room because we didn't have the space to give him a room of his own. Well that is history. Daddy painted Mikey's new room this past weekend, it looks beautiful. Thank you very much Daddy. Anyhow, I'm very excited. We will have a backyard and a great park just across the street. The actual place isn't much bigger, but there is TONS of storage making it soooo much more comfortable. So, wish us luck in our move. The next time I post it will be from our new home.

Mikey is having a pretty good time with the move. He's discovered all sorts of new places to play with his truck.

lots of fun!!!

I LOVE springtime!!!

After a long and harsh winter,
spring has finally shown its face.
It may have taken a while,
but now is time to tie your shoes in a lace.
For spring is here,
and its beauty is bountiful and clear.
It's time to get out your camera for all those pictures you'll hold dear.
The trees are in full bloom,
the bees are buzzing and the sun is shining.
With weather like this,
outside is where I'll be dining.
So grab your good spirits and finest chilled wine.
I assure you,
this spring is yours and mine.

I dedicate my poem to my husband and son.

We're back!!!

Thank heavens we have our camera back! I thought I was going to go nuts without our camera for so long. Well let me tell you, we didn't get it a moment too soon. This past weekend (on Mother's Day) my little boy decided to give me the best present of all. Mikey took his first steps!!! I couldn't believe my eye's... sure he looked like a mix between a drunken sailor and a zombie, but it was the cutest thing ever!!! Mike has been saying for quite some time now that Mikey was going to walk and he even said a few times that he thought the first time would be on Mother's Day. Crazy, right!?! So anyhow, here he is... the newly walking Mikey.

This is how he has been practicing... pushing his stroller around the park.

Too freakin' cute, right?

Yesterday we decided that we would go and join Daddy at the hospital for lunch.

The boys eating together...

Mikey showing Daddy his snack...

Mikey sharing his snack with Daddy... isn't that sweet?

Daddy taking care of some business with Mikey's help.

Last but not least, my boy and me.

(And yes I know... Mikey is looking more and more like his Daddy every single day)

It's been too long...

I know it has been far too long since I've posted anything on the blog. I apologize to everyone that checks out my blog regularly. I just needed a break. You see earlier this month I miscarried my baby. I was 12 weeks along. It was very hard emotionally and physically. I still don't feel like talking about it much, but life must go on.

So, here are some pictures from Mikey's birthday party and our trip to Florida. Our camera broke on our vacation (we only have the first half of our trip on film) and we had to have a friend take the birthday pictures for us.

Let Mommy & Daddy help you with that candle...

This is GOOOOOD stuff!!!

Wow! Is this frosting blue or what???

Back at Grandpa Mike's

Yes, we ate strawberries and whip cream for breakfast. It's a tough life in Florida.

Our exhausting plane ride... or should I say, sitting on the runway for 3 hours!!!

The family.

P.S. The camera is still at the factory and I'm going crazy not being able to take any pictures of my little guy. Hopefully it will return home soon!!!
