May:
We went to Jacksonville for Aunt Yvonne's wedding and to visit with the Grandparents. Naturally, what would any trip to Florida be without a good deal of time spent at the beach?
Leo at 8 months
Some fun before the wedding!
Mikey getting his haircut for his job as ring bearer.
Naomi happily helping Mommy shoe shopping.
I guess she didn't have enough feet so she put the shoes on her hands too. Silly girl!
Congrats Yvonne and Mike.
We wish you a happy and love filled life together!
Daddy and Naomi "high five" their fav breakfast place in J-ville.
Gotta' love The Metro Diner!
We got to spend Mother's day with Grandma Robin. It was a gorgeous day and we were so happy we had the chance to spend the day with her. Love you Grandma Robin!
Great-Uncle Mike even made the trip to see us in Jax!
The girls. ;-)
Mr. Leo!!!
June:
June was an interesting month. We completed our kitchen reno which made for a lot of eating out and keeping the kids busy outside of the house to just keep them out of the way. We made the best of it and now we have a nice new kitchen (see previous post for pictures of that).
Out to eat at our fav local mexican restaurant El Mezcal.
Summer afternoon naps in the best spot in the house.
Michal on his last day of kindergarten. What a big boy. Was he ever ready for summer vacation though. He likes hanging out at home with us. What can I say, I guess we're kinda fun. ;-)
The kids at Columbia Park for Dairyfest weekend.
Bounce houses are fun!
So are large sawdust piles...
not so much fun to get that craziness out of the clothes!
You know it's summer when Daddy puts the trampoline up. Yay!!!
Leo getting an early start in tennis.
Naomi and her neighbor buddy, Ethan. Aren't they cute!!
July:
What a busy month July was.
Whew! It was exciting and exhausting.
The kids trying out the temporary tattoos their Babcia sent them from their trip to the Bahamas.
4th of July Weekend we went to Green Bay for something different to so.
The kids had fun at the parks and we had fun checking out the famous Lambeau Field.
Our very own Cheese-heads!!!
Aren't they delicious?
When we came home Daddy set a few fireworks off for the kids. Unfortunately I didn't get any good picture of that. What ya' gonna do?
Soccer camp!
Naomi had her first soccer camp. Did she love it? No, but she's just too little. Naomi had more fun playing with a baby frog she found than playing the soccer games with the kids. Perhaps next year...
She did like getting dressed up for soccer. Funny girl!
Mikey did great this year! He's getting to be really good.
It's awesome to see!
Leo was a fantastic fan!
Hmmm... much longer Mom?
Leo discovered my printer... it's not safe anymore.
Naomi insisted on wearing a dress to soccer this day.
She might be onto something... it's a good look!
Great job Michal!!!
We went to Traverse City, MI to celebrate Mike's 40th birthday.
It took us 12 hrs to get there and the kids were great in the car. Truly impressive.
We stopped at parks along the way and it was a lot of fun.
View of Lake Michigan from the car.
Happy birthday Daddy!!!!
We went mini-golfing before dinner. It was fun. However, not the best choice for Naomi.
It was just a bit too tough for a 2 yr old.
I love that he golfed while wearing Leo!
So cute!
Love you Babe! I'm so blessed to have such a great husband and phenomenal father to our kids. Life is so much better with you and I cherish every moment we spend together.
Sleeping Bear Dunes.
If you have never been then you should really check it out.
So. Much. Fun!
Thanks to Babcia and Dzia-Dzia for meeting us there to spend the week with us.
It was a wonderful vacation!
Now, hopefully I can keep up and actually post some stuff this month.
