Weekends are good but...

weekends are way too short!

Daddy relaxing with the pups

Our handsome guy striking a pose.

The 3 of us being silly

Smile....

Say cheese!

Kisses! I LOVE me some Mikey kisses!!!

Birthday Party Fun!!!
The b-day girl blowing out her candles...
oh, to be 4 again. ;-)

Mikey was the only little boy there... not that he minded.
He was a good sport and tried on a hat so he could fit in with the ladies.

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, does it?
Daddy was trying to fit in with the ladies as well
(that is Connie the other fellow Mike works with).
Cute Smooch... very cute!

The new family member

We would like to introduce our newest family member, Misiu.
Misiu is a 7 week old cockapoo who was born in Iola, WI. We adopted this little guy this past Sunday and there hasn't been a dull moment yet. He loves Mikey. Misiu plays ball with Mikey, they chase each other around the yard and they even snuggle together. It is such a wonderful sight to see as our other dog, Chloe wants nothing to do with Mikey. I mean nothing... he comes near her and she starts growling. So Misiu is Mikey's puppy.

Daddy snuggling with Misiu

This is at the breeder's house when we picked him up.
(No, I'm not a red head... it just looks red in the sun. Yikes! I think I need to get that fixed)

This is the first time Mikey and Misiu met. It was immediate smiles... then Misiu fell asleep in Mikey's lap for the next 30 minutes. We had a 2 hour drive home.

Misiu snuggling on his blankie in the car on his way home for the first time.

This is definitely a favorite spot...
if he's not between my legs then it's Mikey's.

Sitting on the couch watching Nemo together....
Mom of course has to interrupt to take a picture, shesh!
(look at that look he's giving me)

That's much better... smiles are so much prettier.

On our way home we stopped at this little park to let Misiu go potty. Mike absolutely loved that the park was named after a gentleman named Andy Krakow. Coincidence or what?

Our little chef

Thank you Grandma Robin for this wonderful kitchen.

Every good chef needs his apron

I play pretend and it's so much fun!

I can make anything you desire... however hot dogs are my specialty

The most important rule of all to be a good chef is to always wash your hands.
(Pretending to wash his hands in the sink is always the first thing he does)

Everything is better when shared with a friend.... especially a trip to the Zoo.

Happy 2nd Birthday!!!

Can you believe it? Yes that is right, two years old.

You may be a big boy now, but you will ALWAYS be my baby.

Birthday festivities seemed to be going on all week.

Mikey's best friend's b-day is the day before...
they just loved opening presents together.

There is a clown (or two) in every group. ;-)
Left: Joe's Daddyeo, Lee Right: Dzia-Dzia Diesel

Blow out the candles boys!

Yummy!

Pre-party

Mikey got a tricycle from Mommy and Daddy

Mikey even helped put it together

Great Wolf Lodge (The Wisconsin Dells)
This is b-day morning. Mikey woke up in a great mood. The first thing he said when Mommy and Daddy asked him how old he is.... two!

B-day kisses from Daddy

Is there something in there Daddy? Oh, it's just your tongue. ;-)

B-day Eve we played at the indoor water park and then all went out to eat. I think we all worked up a pretty good appetite swimming and sliding. The table was very quiet when the food arrived.
We managed to stop for a pose between bites of our ice cream sundae.

We even got Babcia Ania and Dzia Dzia Diesel to pose.
Ooh-la-la!

Mikey has been practicing for months blowing out the candles.
He always asks me if he can blow out whatever candle it is I have lit. At least the candles last longer that way... right?

The fantastic choo-choo cake Joe's Papa made for the boys.

I think Daddy had just as much fun as the boys did playing with toys this weekend.
Once a kid always a kid.

The boys sharing their trucks... for the moment.

They like to have you build a wall around them and then these two go absolutely crazy knocking the walls down. It is hilarious!

Our anniversary evening out... just Mommy and Daddy.

The original gangsters

Oh, the complete bliss of having Mom around.
Mikey apparently is more concerned with walking the dog.

Two years married. This is how Mikey shows you he is two. He holds up the pointer finger on each hand. Very cute! (Mommy and Daddy learn from him as well)

Toodles! Muah!!!
